Q. My whirlybird isn’t spinning first thing in the morning
A.
1. If there have been a few days of bad weather, it hasn’t had enough time to charge. After the next day of sunshine it will recharge. Keep in mind, the worst time of the year is November through January, when there are short days and long nights.
2. Not getting enough sun? Make sure solar panel is facing south
Antenna Care Info: if moving antennas in after they have been out in the weather, we suggest wiping them down first with a lubricant (ie:WD-40)
On/Off Switch: There is a short delay when using this function. Push button and hold for a few seconds and release. Repeat process if needed.
Note for Boaters:
Whirly can be mounted with bungee cords, string or other tie downs.
Whirly does not need to be removed when boat is being used.
